Hot Rod Revo.
It's A Revolution...
Well, it actually started in early 2006 over one too many margaritas and a dream to do something different. After much thought and consideration, the revolutionaries (Keith, Mary, Ryan, and Marcie) decided that the world needed a different kind of car show. Armed with a passion for traditional hot rods and a dedication to spreading the gospel, the Hot Rod Revolution began.
The first five years of the show were hosted in Penngrove, CA at an old baseball diamond. The show quickly garnered a reputation as being the best small car show on the planet - 100 or so pre-1948 hot rods and a few good good folks is all we needed. Quality over quantitiy.
Even so, we couldn't sit on our asses and call it done. Last year, we decided to throw a monkey in the barrel and move the show to the wonderful city of Austin, TX. In doing so, we also picked up a couple of new revolutionaries - Steve Wertheimer and Will Muntz. It set up a perfect storm. The Seaholm Power Plant was chosen as a backdrop and what ended up going down on that November day in 2010 has become legendary.
It's now 2012 and the Seaholm Power Plant is off the grid. We knew we needed a venue that was just as impressive... just as passionate... and just as relevant. And thanks to the US Army, we found one - CAMP MABRY!
This is gonna be epic.

The Hot Rod Revolution is a Pre-1948 TRADITIONAL Hot Rod Show!
You read that, right? We've got a small venue and want to keep it packed with the right cars. Of course, we are also pretty laid back guys and none of us have the personality it would take to sit at the gate and pick apart cars that might or might not meet the standard it takes to park on the hallowed grounds of Camp Mabry.
So, what to do?
To get your car into the Hot Rod Revolution, you must pre-register!
Pre-Register Now!
To pre-register for the Hot Rod Revolution, simply shoot us an email and include the year, make, and model of your hot rod along with a picture. Again, you must send a picture of the car you plan to bring.
Once we get that picture and so long as your car is appropriate, we will repy with a show application and give you a few options for payment.
With any luck, this will all go smooth as butter.
It's Not All That Expensive...
Registering your car will run you $35. That gets you and your car in the show (passengers will be charged a spectator fee). Spectators will be charged a cool $10.
Pretty damned cheap for all of the entertainment we plan to hit your ass over the head with - huh?
